Bucket List Cocktails: Part 1

Some cocktails mean more in certain places than others. For instance a Sazerac has more meaning at a bar in New Orleans than really anywhere else in the world. While a Pisco Punch could be called the unofficial drink of San Francisco. 

As someone who really enjoys the history of a drink almost (not really) as much as the actual cocktail itself there are a few cocktails that I have on my bucket list to have in certain places. I can make a Ramos Gin Fizz, but I would love to see how it stacks up to the one served at the Empire Bar at Broussard's in New Orleans.

Recipe: Ginger Mojito (Large Batch)

This weekend, we had the privilege of being invited to a beach house on Dana Point with a group of six of our friends. Being the bartender that I am, I knew that I wanted to provide some sort of cocktail for the festivities. Now, being the bartender for your friends can be great at times, but it can also get old quick if you are just trying to relax and have a good time. So I knew that if we were going to have a cocktail, it was going to have to be something large batch that I could just bring and people could serve themselves.
